2008 -2009 Jose Pablo Bezunartea Granados Cuauhtemoc Chihuahua, Mexico Jose Pablo writes, By means of this letter, I address myself to you to say hello and to tell you a little about myself. I'm 17 years old, I'm Mexican and I am asking if you would like to receive me at your home as a member of your family from 10 to 11 months, through a Rotary Youth Interchange. I'm currently studying High School, where I study Health science, calculus, accounting and food processing amoung other subjects. I go to school from 8:00am to 2:00pm. I wake up at 7:00am, I clean my bedroom, I take a shower, I eat breakfast and then I go to school. I have my own car. School finishes at 2:00pm. I go home and eat, and at 4:00pm I start working at a Japanese food restaurant as a waiter; sometimes they send me to deliveries. I give myself some time to do my homework and study. On the weekend, I go out with my friends, I go to the movies, and we drive around. I like to do exercise (weightlifting), I participate in my school in the Cheerleading team for one year, where I had the opportunity to meet and make friends; we traveled to many cities. I like listen to music, surf the net, ride horses and I like cats and dogs as pets. I thank you in advance for your attention and I hope you accept me. I look forward to meeting you. |

2006-2007
From Paula: "Back in Germany I used to be a cheerleader for American football. Besides doing sports, my hobbies are meeting friends, going to movies, shopping, talking on the phone like every other girls' hobbies;-) At West I was on the gymnastics team in winter and I did track in spring. I arrived here in the middle of August and stayed till the end of June. My first host was Sandra Joseph. Then I stayed with the Gustafsons in Town of Black Wolf. I had a great time here even though especially the size of my home city and free-time-opportunities caopared to Oshkosh are huge differences. Thank you very much, Rotary Downtown Club, for hosting me!" |
