How To Join the Oshkosh Rotary Club
New Membership
Membership in the Oshkosh Rotary Club is personally and professionally rewarding. You’ll have the chance to interact with the community’s leaders, carrying on the club’s proud tradition of service leadership.
How to Apply
Prospective members are invited to attend a meeting as a guest of the club. You’ll enjoy fabulous programs and genuine camaraderie. If you are interested in joining the club, please submit the membership form on our website.
The Application Process
The application process sounds complex—but it’s actually quite simple.
The Board of Directors formally approves applications at its monthly board meetings. Throughout the approval process, prospective members are invited to attend weekly club meetings, as a guest of the club.
After your membership application is approved by the Board of Directors, news of your application will be published in the club’s newsletter, for member review.
New members are inducted as ‘Red Badge’ members. It’s a sort-of ‘get to know the club’ period. New members are assigned a Rotary mentor and asked to complete a variety of steps to earn their ‘Blue Badge’. The ‘Blue Badge’ induction ceremony marks formal membership in the Oshkosh Rotary Club.
Dues
Members are billed quarterly for dues and meal costs.
Quarterly dues are $34.50. Quarterly meals are $123.50. There is also a $20 initiation fee for new members.
